For more than forty years, Payne has trained people through his discipleship and apologetics materials. He is the pastor of leadership development at Antioch Bible Church, the founder of the Transferable Cross Training Foundation, and the former chaplain of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, from 1994-2015.

In this workshop we will look at 1) Jesus’ claims to be God, 2) statements He made that only make sense if He was God in the flesh, and 3) testimonies from both His friends and enemies who heard the statements He made. The format will be transferable so that you can not only identify necessary verses in the Bible regarding this question, but you should be able to share them with others given the opportunity.

In this workshop we will look at verses that make it unambiguously clear that biblical salvation is given by God as a free gift, apart from works, when we believe, not the result of various types of works or deeds that may be promoted by individuals, churches or denominational credo’s, but not supported by Scripture taught and understood in context. In the process of this workshop, we will also address the difference between a gift given, and rewards that are earned. The format will be transferable so that you can not only identify necessary verses in the Bible regarding this question, but you should be able to share them with others given the opportunity.
